Trista Harris, President

Trista Harris is a philanthropic futurist and advocate of leaders in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors using the tools of futurism to solve our communities' most pressing challenges. Much of her time is spent on helping visionaries build a better future.

Trista is certified in strategic foresight by Oxford University and The Institute for the Future. She earned her Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs and her Bachelor of Arts from Howard University.

Before starting FutureGood, Trista served as the President of the Minnesota Council on Foundations, the executive director of the Headwaters Foundation for Justice in Minneapolis, and as a program officer at the St. Paul Foundation.

Trista's work has been covered by the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Forbes, CNN, the New York Times, and numerous social sector blogs. She is the co-author of the book "How to Become a Nonprofit Rockstar" and the author of "FutureGood."

She is a board member for Tides and Arts + Rec.  Trista also served on the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee and the Governor's Council on Law Enforcement and Community Relations, which was convened after the shooting of Philando Castile.

Patricia Silva, Relationship Manager — Visioning

Patricia Silva is highly skilled at developing and maintaining relationships and is an innovative thinker. Patricia supports our strategic visioning and our operations and process development.

Patricia is an ArtEquity trained facilitator and holds a Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Management from St. Mary’s University. She was born and raised in Brazil and considers herself a citizen of the world.

Prior to joining FutureGood, Patricia worked at MOSSA as a Business Coach and held positions at the YMCA, Guthrie Theatre, and Walker Art Center.

Sylvia Diaz, Relationship Manager — Cohorts

Sylvia Diaz is an advocate, creative thinker, community organizer, and an active listener. Her approach is service oriented and coming to every task with curiosity, willingness to listen and learn, and complete dedication to team effort and community building. One of her skill sets lies in finding common ground and in creating collaborations and partnerships.

Sylvia is an entrepreneur at heart and has founded several businesses. She has worked in business development, has advocated for artists for over 10 years, and was an educator for 22 years. She has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Major in Communications and a minor in Women's Studies. She is currently working towards being a DEIA Certifed Consultant.

Before joining FutureGood, Sylvia served as the Development Director for a non-proft clothing bank, founded a school for a large homeschooling community, an art school called HATCH, and an art gallery called Art JuXtapose. She also was the Arts Education Coordinator for Arts Mid-Hudson where she advocated for art eduction, lead THRIVE: Making a Career in the Arts which assisted college art students in preparing for the workforce, and initiated a Podcast program called Feed the Artist that highlighted the value art has to our well-being.

Dena Rapley, Relationship Manager — FutureGood Studio

Dena Rapley is an agile program manager, a creative problem-solver, and an empathetic relationship-builder. Dena oversees FutureGood Studio, developing a client-centered online learning experience where students of futurism can hone their skills in a highly supported environment. An American-British dual national, Dena has spent the past decade living in the UK, most recently working in higher ed with fully remote-learning graduate students.  

Dena is a feminist and environmentalist, and she's interested in making learning more accessible to all. She recently completed a postgraduate certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Management at the University of Derby-Online. Dena earned her Bachelor of Arts in history and Spanish from Hiram College in Ohio, and she holds a Master of Arts in Latin American history from Indiana University-Bloomington.

Pamela Lightcap Dominguez, Executive Assistant

Pamela Lightcap Dominguez is an excellent communicator who is skilled in systems development and management. Pamela will serve as Executive Assistant for Patricia Silva at FutureGood. Pamela has 20+ years of experience working as an executive assistant. As an administrative professional, Pamela combines her strong organizational skills, creative problem solving, sense of social justice, and can-do spirit with everything she does.

Roula El-Asmar, Executive Assistant to the President

Roula El-Asmar is a results-driven HR Expert with extensive top-tier administrative skills. Roula serves as the Executive Assistant to Trista Harris at FutureGood. Roula has over 20 years experience in HR and program management. Roula specializes in programmatic and operational expansion and focuses on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and maximizing productivity.
